WASHING INSTRUCTIONS FOR: POLY VELVET, COTTON, LINEN, TERRY CLOTH AND POLY TAFFETA.
It is best to spot clean when needed but if necessary, the Twisturban® is quite durable in washing. I recommend washing this way infrequently, but it is a great way to make your turban last longer in nicer condition. So far, I have found that the Twisturban® that can be machine washed are the cotton pieces as well as some others. Of course, the most gentle technique will be to spot clean.
*For the silk pieces & Silk/ sequin pieces spot clean/ dry clean ONLY.
I have had success washing cotton pieces and poly taffeta pieces in the following way: Roll the Twisturban® into a loose spiral kind of like a sea shell.
Place Twisturban® into a Twisturban® or lingerie wash bag. ( This special wash bag works the best)
Your machine settings should be on the cold water setting, delicate setting & lowest spin cycle using gentle soap and the Twisturban® should be the only item in the machine.
Reshape the wire into the original rectangular shape and place on a drying rack, or hand from a trouser hanger to dry. *note that poly velvet may get a clip mark with the trouser hanger.
